Steve Evans - idiot.

Calling Steve Evans an idiot is too kind, the man is a disgrace to football and mankind. It amazes me how this cretinous individual is still involved in the game is a mystery. The cheating scum needs kicking out of the game.

Yesterday, Evans dismissed the similarity between big spending no marks Crawley Town and Manchester City, claiming the clubs are run totally differently. These are Steve Evans exact words.

“People probably see Crawley coming the way they see Man City coming at the top level.

“The difference is, and I have to be careful what I say about the idiots, the Arabs, but they just pay it.

“But Bruce and Susan Carter set a benchmark and they have said ‘no’ to me about a few players.

“We’ve done some good business in the transfer window.”

The cheating scumbag has declared that Manchester City are run by 'idiot Arabs'. Which we all know is bollocks. The 'idiot Arabs' are doing a fine job in the regeneration of the club and surrounding area. A significant input in players and wages show that they are here for the long term, and determined to turn the club into a viable money making business.

Now you may be wondering why I am referring to this fat slob as a cheating scumbag, we will have to go back to 2002 when he was manager of Boston United. Evans and Pat Malkinson (former Boston United chairman) both pleaded guilty to conspiring to cheat the Inland Revenue between 1997 and 2002. Evans helped cheat the taxman out of £250'000. This money was put to misuse, as it was this money which bought several players and pay their secret contracts, which made sure of Boston United's promotion to Division 3.

An example of this deception is Ken Charlery, signed by the crook for £25'000 from Barnet on a contract worth £120 a week. He was actually on a contract worth £620 a week plus a £16'000 signing on fee. He was paid the signing on fee in cash which was in a brown envelope, how cliché.  The club recieved a 4 point penalty which was taken off the following seasons total. Making sure Dagenham & Redbridge were cheated out of there spot in the Football League.

Evans pleaded guilty and got a 12 month suspended sentence. Not good enough. He should of served the term and banned from the game for life. He was suspended for 20 months. After the ban he went back to the scene of the crime to manage Boston. He is now at Crawley Town, with a supposably 'open chequebook' which is all above board. But with his previous criminal activity, Crawley Town should have thier finances examined on a monthly basis. A small price to pay for employing a fraudster.

In future Jabba, Keep your nose out of the big boys business. Worry about your own.
